Meet Fabio Calicchia – International Latin Dance Champion & World-Class Instructor

Fabio Calicchia has been dancing since before he could walk—and it shows. Born and raised in Italy, Fabio has dedicated his life to the art of dance, specializing in Latin Ballroom and representing Italy in some of the most prestigious competitions across the globe, including the World Cup, Italian Open, and International Open Championships.
With hundreds of competitions and accolades under his belt, some of Fabio’s standout achievements include:

Three-time finalist in the Italian Latin Championship (2006, 2007, 2010)

Semifinalist at the IPDSC Professional World Championship in Madrid (2007)

3rd place at the England Professional Latin Championship (2009)

2nd place at Alcobendas IPDSC (2008)

A certified teacher and judge in both Latin and Standard Ballroom, Fabio has served as an Italian Federal Trainer since 2009. Throughout his career, he has trained multiple Italian national champions as well as a Senior Latin World Champion in 2019.
His expertise and reputation have made him a sought-after international teacher and adjudicator, working across Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy, and now the United States. Since 2023, Fabio has been working independently in the U.S., where his success with Pro-Am students has placed him among the top 10% of NDCA teachers.
Fabio has worked with both professional and amateur dancers, with a unique ability to elevate each student’s potential, instilling discipline, confidence, and passion. His dedication to excellence and proven track record of competition success make him a true asset to any dancer looking to grow.

Giancarlo Greco
Instructor - Ballroom | Latin | Smooth & Rhythm
​Originally from the beautiful region of Puglia, Italy, Giancarlo began dancing at just 7 years old in his hometown of San Cassiano. By the age of 8, he was already competing in ballroom dance, and at just 14, he earned his first Italian National Championship title in International Standard, International Latin, and Italian Smooth—followed by five more national championships in the years that followed.
Throughout his remarkable career, Giancarlo has trained with some of the world's most respected ballroom professionals, including Peter Townsend, Barbara Ambroz, Ruud Vermeij, Espen Salberg, and Charolin Smith. His passion for International Latin has led him to compete successfully at some of the most prestigious events in the world, including the Blackpool Dance Festival, German Open Championships, International Dance Festival, Kiev Dance Festival, and Russian Dance Festival.
After becoming a certified WDC Professional Latin instructor, Giancarlo relocated to the United States in 2015 to share his passion and expertise. As an active member of both the NDCA and WDC, he has guided countless Pro-Am students to outstanding achievements at competitions across the country.
Giancarlo is known not only for his exceptional accomplishments on the dance floor but also for his inspiring teaching style, dedication to every student, and commitment to helping dancers of all levels reach their goals—whether they dream of competing or simply want to enjoy the art of social dancing.
Alex Teleshko
Instructor - Ballroom | Latin | Smooth | Rhythm & More
With over 22 years of experience in Ballroom and Latin dance, Alex brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and passion to every lesson. As a teacher, coach, choreographer, and former dance studio owner in Krakow, Poland and Kiev, Ukraine, Alex is a seasoned professional with an international reputation for excellence.
He is a certified dance instructor with both national and international dance federations, including IDCA and WDO, and has worked with students of all ages and skill levels — from young children discovering dance for the first time to seasoned adult competitors.
Alex holds a prestigious Magister Degree of Sports in Dance and served as the head ballroom choreographer at the renowned Kiev Choreographic College. As a Master of Sports of Ukraine, a 10-Dance Champion, and a competitor in the World Dance Federation, Alex has represented both Ukraine and Poland at elite European competitions.
